comScore recently updated its Media Metrix rankings, which list the 50 most popular (i.e., most visited) websites in the United States. The current edition is the September 2012 one.
As one could guess the top 5 are: Google, Microsoft, Yahoo!, Facebook and AOL. Below you’ll find a compilation of the list that appeared on the Cnet blog:

Technorati in the 28th position? Are they still around…?Federated Media, 17th, doesn’t own any online properties as far as know.
